while listening to talk radio the other night i heard a caller say that the Global Population increases by approx 1.5 million people per day. when u think about the size of the world i guess that may be true.
more interesting was the point that just less than 1 million people die every day.
this birth / death gap is apparently becoming wider than ever.
so this made my mind open a HUGE can of worms...........(dont take much for my mind to open)
especially when we are told of food and oil shortages in the world.
are there any solutions?
eugenics? few years ago you would dismiss (Hitler springs to mind) - but is it now a viable solution?
birth control limits? many countries in Asia have a ONE child limit (China for example)
teaching developing countries about condoms / the pill? (might upset the Catholics - lol)
i jest, but seriously i dont believe too many stories in newspapers and TV - but this story of Population going out of control could be a more serious threat to humanity than a nuclear war................
(if anyone could provide more info on this i would love to know more)
